Topic: CMMC from the OCS's Perspective
This presentation addresses a brief history and the requirements of the CMMC program. We'll touch on common friction points and misunderstandings in preparing for a CMMC Assessment, the holistic nature of the 320 Assessment Objectives, and lessons learned from the perspective of an Organization Seeking Certification (OSC).
Bio: Dy is the Director of Information Security for BlueHalo, a defense contractor in Albuquerque, NM. She has spent four and a half years supporting the company’s CMMC program, leading the enterprise to a successful CMMC Level 2 third-party assessment this year. The last two and a half years she has focused on the development of proactive cybersecurity program integrations for mergers & acquisitions and Supply Chain support. She has a Master of Science in Information Technology Management, is a CMMC Certified Practitioner (CCP), and a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA).
